Enhanced VRT Course, January 2025 FeedbackI have been on lots of VRT courses, which are often a repeat of what I have been taught before. But Samy's course has significantly developed my knowledge and skills and will certainly enhance the vestibular service I offer. Thank you, Samy, for sharing your vast experience. Really valuable content. From knowing nothing about vestibular, I feel confident to begin my treatment journey. Sami delivered the course in a way that is open for questions and simplified the learning for easier understanding. I enjoyed the way the course was laid out, with chances to put into practice the assessments and treatment options after learning the theory in-depth. The group practice was helpful. Thank you, Sami. Very interesting and thorough course. Samy is very knowledgeable in this field as well as enthusiastic in his teaching. The course has really helped to consolidate my existing knowledge but also introduced and explained new treatment and assessment methods I would previously not have considered. Samy's one-day advanced VRT course has been extremely informative. The mixture of practical and theoretical knowledge has been excellent. Great progress from the basic VRT course previously. Really excellent course. I learned how to diagnose and treat a variety of vestibular pathologies using tests and manoeuvres. Really good mix of theory and hands-on learning. Samy was very knowledgeable on the subject. The course had a combination of theory, hands-on treatment, and clinical scenarios. He provided real-life scenarios to learn how to properly diagnose dizziness and evaluate nystagmus and vertigo. I highly recommend this course to learn more about vestibular rehab. Starting the course with little to no vestibular experience, I have left the course with much more confidence and knowledge in being able to assess and treat these types of patients. Thank you, Samy. The first day introduction was a good session to consolidate the pre-reading and previous learning on vestibular anatomy, assessment, and treatment. I definitely feel more confident in identifying different conditions. It was a good mix of theory, previous clinical experiences, and practical elements. It has greatly excelled my interest in vestibular rehab. Good one-day enhanced VR course. Links to research plus overview of vestibular assessment video is good, but would be useful to send out earlier to allow the time to watch. Great practical aspect. A fabulous course. Learned a lot. The enhanced course was perfect for a clinician with a basic understanding. Samy is very engaging and a great educator. Very informative and well-explained session. Consolidated my current knowledge from completing the one-day course a few years ago. I now feel more confident with less common presentations of dizziness. The sequence of assessment is very helpful. A course with plenty of information and knowledge from Samy, as well as hands-on practice skills. A lot to learn about such a narrow niche specialty. Very beneficial to me on a networking level as well, taking into consideration that I work alone in a private, self-employed physio practice. Very well presented. Easy to understand. Interactive discussion. Good hands-on practical session. |
Enhanced Vestibular Rehabilitation course Part 1: Introduction (16/3/24) Part 2: BPPV and Hypofunction (13/4/24). Part 3: Complex Vestibular Disorders (Vestibular Migraine & PPPD) (14/4/24)March/April 2024, NJB Physiotherapy, Wolverhampton Really important area to develop due to knowledge + service gaps. Thanks Samy for breaking everything down to manageable chunks: Anatomy + Physiology, Conditions, Assessment, and Differential + Treatment of every condition. Thank you for the relaxed atmosphere that encouraged interaction. Thank you to all patients who came to be assessed, treated and taught us.Mae
Very informative course to identify factors which contribute to more complex vestibular presentations. How to structure an assessment and treatment approach for those patients. Extremely beneficial to have the patients come in for us to observe their follow-up sessions. Also a good refresher of other assessment and treatment techniques. Many thanks.Anonymous
Really helpful, friendly, clinically relevant course. Good mixture of patients, practical sessions and information/discussions. Able to ask questions and adapt information/ change direction, clarify without losing flow. Handouts very helpful particularly with dyslexia.Rachel
It was a great learning experience under the guidance of Samy who has been excellent with his course, giving all the practical and reading material along with the online resources to help understand how to treat patients with dizziness and fall prevention. I had been looking for such a course for a very long time and was fortunate enough to learn from the best. I wish could get more time and many more advanced courses if possible in the future. The course was simple, practical, effective and also appreciated the idea of seeing patients live and treated by Samy. Overall a great learning experience and feel more confident to apply these skills with appropriate clinical reasoning. So thank you.Nikunj Mehta
Fantastic course! Attended all 3 days having had some experience of treating post. canal BPPV patients but left with a greater depth of knowledge and understanding of the variants of BPPV and more importantly how to treat them successfully. The real-time patient demos were great and really cemented the teaching. I've left with more conditions and differentials on my radar and a fully loaded treatment toolbox! Thanks Samy, great course!Luke G
Thank you very much Samy for the course. The content of the course was very informative + the resources helpful. Very inspiring and motivational to improve and learn more about the vestibular system.

I feel more informed about the vestibular migraine and PPPD. The information from the course will help me follow a clearer process for identifying these conditions and I have more knowledge now in how to manage them. Observing Samy assess patients was a bonus I wasn't expecting and it definitely supported my learning.KB
I really enjoyed the course. Excellent knowledge delivered. Now I understand more about vestibular problems. I learnt a lot. Samy was very willing to answer all questions from individuals which is very helpful. Overall thank you Samy, very interesting and useful courses.Anonymous
Thank you for hosting this course - it was perfectly pitched to allow reference to anatomy and physiology and its relevance in assessment and treatment of vestibular conditions. Perfect amount of teaching vs practical vs interactive elements. It was very helpful to observe subjective/ objective Ax/ implement outcome measures/ and treat actual patients. The lunch was an added bonus :). Small group and intimate therefore able to ask questions and discuss openly. The access to DizzyCare Academy is very helpful and useful as a reference. Thank you for your time and expertise. I have really enjoyed attending and feel much more confident to assess and treat. Many thanks.Neesha Patel
Great course. Good learning with real patients. Easy/ manageable. Complex topics broken down - simplified.Anonymous
