Samy Selvanayagm at The Dizzy Care Clinic has helped me tremendously with my balance problems. I had been experiencing severe vertigo for over 2 months at my 1st appt, which he immediately diagnosed as bppv and resolved using the Epley manouevre. I also have an underlying more general balance issue related to an inner ear condition which he is also treating with a variety of specific exercises to improve my centre of balance. Samy is extremely supportive and it is very reassuring to know that I am very welcome to contact him again if I need further support.

After several years suffering with Vertigo on and off, I researched treatment available privately. I contacted Samy and after filling in a questionnaire, I had an appointment for my first consultation. He confirmed that I was suffering with 'Vestibular Migraines' Treatment, including improving my diet and exercises to do at home started and I can confirm that I am now 'back to normal'
Before meeting Samy I was feeling very depressed and thinking I was going to have to 'live with' my condition. I am extremely grateful for his expertise and lovely manner and recommend him to anyone I meet with 'dizziness' (more people suffer with this than you realise)

My first appointment with Sammy went very good. He put me at ease, explained what he would do, after I had told me what was happening to me. The treatment was successful I haven’t had any problems. I would go back if I need to . Sammy was very polite and professional. Have recommended him .

Having endured several days in bed with vertigo, my Dr referred me to Samy at the clinic in Codsall. Unfortunately I was unable to get an appointment for four weeks by which time the vertigo was well on the mend. Samy was very professional and certainly knew his subject. After doing various tests, he explained my problem and provided exercises which were a big help. Then he tackled my other dizzy issues and supplemented my exercises. I now feel that the problems have all but disappeared which is wonderful, as they were affecting my general day to day living. I shouldn't hesitate to recommend Samy as someone who is well worth visiting over dizziness problems. Thank you.

I contacted Samy after two different diagnoses and warning that any referral to a distant balance clinic would take 13 months. At last here is someone who understands the condition, and who works collaboratively with the patient for best outcomes. I have long Covid, therefore other symptoms too, but we kept focussed on the vertigo and the exercises really do work. I am very grateful.

Samy you helped me much I have not had a dizzy spell since I came to your surgery I would recommend you to other people who suffers with the same systems have nice Christmas

After dizziness for a fair few weeks and genuinely thinking I would never feel normal again, my mother in law who was also treated successfully for vertigo by Samy, told me to make an appointment. After ruling a few things out and after only a couple of sessions, Samy diagnosed me with vestibular migraines. It was great to feel like I had support from Samy as I was so down and frustrated as being a busy working Mom I don’t know how I carried on feeling like I did ???? On Samys advice to change a few things in my diet, my symptoms subsided completely!! I can’t tell you how grateful I am-especially not having to go down the route of taking strong medication which like Samy said “only mask the symptoms” they do not get to the direct cause! If you are suffering then please book to see him, his knowledge and professionalism are second to none and I recommend Samy whole heartedly. I personally know another patient who was also successfully treated for vertigo, after taking strong tablets that did absolutely nothing for a long time.
