<p>Samy diagnosed me with PPPD after I started to feel dizzy and very anxious. At times I felt I was leaning to one side when walking. The dizziness and anxiety I felt was stopping me from taking part in normal activities with family and friends and was affecting all aspects of my life. Samy was always very calm and encouraged me to take part in the exercises he set, so I felt able to continue to make progress. He also gave me advice on how to cope with the stress and anxiety I felt linked to the dizziness. Gradually I felt better and I now feel I have the understanding and tools to help myself. <p>Having suffered from Menieres for over a decade, I had been experiencing the last 2-3 years with vertigo episodes. Having seen various consultants and treated for BPPV and steroid injection for Menieres, I was recommended to see Samy who with his help and guidance has completed helped me control the vertigo with diet, lifestyle and vestibular rehab in that I haven&#39;t had a single episode in over a month, from a frequency of at least once a week. <p>Samy was the first to diagnose this condition - promptly, too - after I had spent more than 20 years suffering from vertigo and interacting on and off, somewhat unsuccessfully, with over-stretched NHS consultants and their clinics. He instigated dietary and lifestyle changes, and provided me with valuable physio exercises. After four sessions, I was feeling a lot better, and well on the road to coping with any attacks, which had reduced in frequency and severity during my time under his expert care.</p>

<p>Title: Miraculous Recovery of Vertigo through Video consultation. Thank you, Mr Samy. My father is 67 years of age living hale &amp; healthy in a small town Salem, Tamilnadu, India. On Saturday morning at 5 am (13/08/22) he had an acute bout of wild dizziness accompanied by vomiting and head spinning. The same day he went to a local emergency department where he went through extensive investigations for heart and brain issues but luckily they all came out clear. The physician who examined him at the emergency noticed nystagmus (abnormal eye movements) and diagnosed him with BPPV and advised bedrest and prescribed generic Dizziness medications.</p> <p>My dad&#39;s symptoms did not improve and he lost hope of living a normal life again. We couldn&rsquo;t bear to see him suffering from vertigo and we were desperate to help him. Through word of mouth, we came to know about Mr Samy, a vertigo specialist at the DizzyCare Clinic in the UK. We contacted Samy and he returned our Whatsapp call on the same day even though it was a weekend and offered my dad an appointment and saw him through the Whatsapp video call. Considering how even the face-to-face consultation at the emergency care and all the investigations did not help get rid of my dad&#39;s dizziness, we did not have much faith in the effectiveness of the remote consultation. However, to our surprise, Samy not only diagnosed my dad correctly with a BPPV (he explained it was a lateral canal cupulolithiasis, not a common type of BPPV) but he also successfully cured this condition just after one treatment.</p> <p>Let me elaborate a bit more details on how Samy helped my dad get rid of his vertigo. Firstly, Samy asked for details about my dad&#39;s symptoms and the movements that brought his symptoms on or made his symptoms worse. Following this, he guided my dad to undergo an eye movements examination and a series of positional tests while he was observing my dad through the video. I helped my dad to do the tests while my auntie (Chithi) was holding the phone in position for Samy to observe the tests. Apparently, Samy was looking at my dad&rsquo;s eye movements during the tests. Certain positional tests made my dad dizzy while others were not that bad. At the end of the examination, Samy explained to my dad about his findings in a simple language so that we all can understand what was causing my dad&#39;s vertigo. He also explained the treatment procedure /steps that he will be doing to help get rid of my dad&#39;s vertigo. My dad was very keen to get the treatment done immediately, therefore, Samy proceeded to treat him. Samy Guided my dad with the treatment procedure and I helped my dad to do the movements and I assisted him.</p> <p>The whole treatment lasted less than 10 minutes. My dad felt a huge relief after the session. And he followed the post-treatment instructions as recommended by Samy for 24 hours. My dad&rsquo;s vertigo completely resolved the following morning. And Samy&rsquo;s review later that day confirmed the cure of my Dad&rsquo;s BPPV. It was good to see my dad again in his oldself and he is now back in his active life again without the fear of a vertigo attack.</p> <p>We, as a family, thank Samy from the bottom of our hearts for making my father normal from the disabling BPPV. We also Thanx God &amp; for the technological advancement that connected closely the patient and the specialist in a virtual world. The distance doesn&rsquo;t matter anymore. <p><em>I am so greatful to have found Sammy to help my dad recover. With Covid as well he was in quite a bad way so having an online appointment was brilliant. After spending 10 years with permanent dizziness and suffering from Multiple Migraines per week and attending many GP appointments and Neuro appointments at hospitals with no concrete diagnosis or resolution I was advised to speak with Samy at the Dizzy Clinic. I attended after work one evening and within 15 minutes of chatting with Samy he was 100% sure of the diagnosis of what was causing my dizziness ­ BPPV. He was prepared to treat me at that time but due to me driving on my own he couldn’t perform the treatment so I returned the following week and had the procedure done. Within two days my dizziness had gone and with a change in diet , that Samy suggested, my migraines have stopped with only an occasional one. The treatment I was on before was medication and a whole host of different drugs that affected me in different ways from falling asleep all the time to losing concentration and not being able to hold a conversation as I’d forget the start of it and still there was no 100% fix to the dizziness or the migraines. The treatment Samy provided has made a massive difference to my day to day life and I feel a different person and much happier and healthier.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the Dizzycare Clinic to anyone. I received excellent advice and treatment that made a world of difference to the way I was able to function. I went from being almost housebound to resuming my normal activities. I was impressed with Samy's skill, his powers of observation and his courtesy.

<p>On June 23rd 2014 I experienced my first Dizzy &#39;spell&#39; as well as sickness. I went to my doctor and was prescribed medication. It continued for a further two weeks. On the 10th July during a Pilates class I suffered another attack with nausea , I was unable to drive home. I saw Samy on the 14th and 21st July and received Epley treatment for vertigo which stopped the dizzy spells. Ten months later the Vertigo returned and I attended 3 sessions with Samy which along with an exercise programme has kept it at bay. The Epley treatment is not pleasant as it involves inducing dizziness but it does work and you do feel secure and safe in Samys&#39; hands. I would certainly recommend having the treatment</p>

<p>Hi Samy, The treatment provided by you has been 100% effective and saved my mother from a lot of discomfort. It was impacting my other&acirc;&euro;&trade;s life to such an extent that it was getting difficult to carry out even the most simplest tasks for fear of the dizzy spells reoccurring. The tablets prescribed by my GP doctor were absolutely useless compared to the non-tablet methods used by you Samy.
